Commit to Clinton Global Initiative with Global Technology Platform Expansion

ImagineNations Group and Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) today announced that they are joining to promote ImagineNations Network (imagine-network.org), a platform of global and local portals that engages and connects young entrepreneurs to each other and to mentors, supporters, financing sources and markets to spur the development and growth of youth-led businesses.

The announcement was made on September 22 at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2010 Annual Meeting by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, chair of the Partners for a New Beginning (PNB); Alan H. Fleischmann, managing director and co-founder, ImagineNations; and Jerry Yang, co-founder, Yahoo! Inc.

The commitment was announced in connection with PNB's and several other commitments, represented on stage by Muhtar Kent, chairman and CEO, The Coca-Cola Company; John Chambers, chairman and CEO, Cisco Systems; former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, representing the Tony Blair Faith Foundation; Shelley Esque, president, Intel Foundation; Kenneth Cohen, chairman, ExxonMobil Foundation, and vice president, public & government affairs, Exxon Mobil Corporation; Ruth Simmons, president, Brown University; Eboo Patel, founder and executive director, Interfaith Youth Core; Helene Gayle, president and CEO, Care; Anne-Marie Slaughter, director of policy and planning, U.S. Department of State; and Amb.
